Najibullah Umar

Najibullah Umar was born in Argungu town of Kebbi State from a humble and disciplined family 31years ago. He had his Nursery and  Primary education at An-Najat International school Lagos. Thereafter he attended Federal Government Collage Kwali, Abuja for his secondary education and Igbinedion University, Okada where he obtained Bsc in Business Administration. He later attended the Birmingham City University, in the United Kingdom where he graduated with M.Sc. Degree in Management and International Business. After his studies Najibullah did his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation where he served as a Manager assistant in the New Business Department where he aided in the day to day running of the department and specialised in evaluation and preparation of end of year reports.


Najibullah who is a resonate leader with expertise in strategic alignment, consultancy and entrepreneurial thinking for non- profits and corporations. Expertise in the use of mediation to resolve conflicts develop high performance teams with diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. Following that, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Sandpine Consultants Limited. an indigenous firm specialised in Marketing, management and human development consultancy. He is also an executive member of the Nigerian Young professionals forum.

Najibullah is remarkable both for tenacity and patience with which he pursues his goal of youth empowerment and climate change and for his success in blending cultural differences with nationalism. All of which led Najibullah to be a founding member and a board member of the Nigerian Youth Volunteers Service. A youth volunteers movement with is endorsed by the presidency and many others relevant organisations, the platform now has more than Five million volunteers nation wide.


The NGO which has since given the youth a sense of belonging by offering exciting opportunities for the social and economic of youth through:  1- Volunteer Internship Programme : A pathway to employment 2- Community Service and Nation Building
 3- Active Citizenship: Positive engagement opportunities to develop a sense of social responsible and responsive citizenship 4- NYV Economic Empowerment: Multipurpose Corporative society identifies and creates economic opportunities to create and earn for sustainable livelihood 5- International volunteer exchange and placement opportunities The issue of climate change has deservedly caught His attention for years now, Najibullah has been the Director North- West for Centre For Climate Change and Environmental Studies an organisation which has the UNFCCC observer status and has recently had an Ecosoc Consultative status approval. He was invited for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen, Denmark where the Copenhagen accord was drafted. In Centre for climate change Najibullah has contributed immensely to realise the goals of the organisation. Najibullah has an Aptech Worldwide Computer Certificate and Nigerian institute of management Chartered proficiency Certificate in Management. He is a member Birmingham centre for business ethics and a member of Nigerian Chartered institute of management. He also attended many workshops and conferences the Birmingham workshop on business ethics amongst others. They young entrepreneur has passion for sustainable development of his people through economic empowerment of the rural populace, eradication of ignorance, poverty and disease among the people. An epitome of proven integrity, honesty, humility and service to humanity, Najibullah Umar had in the past decade distinguished himself with these unique qualities that earned him a merit in the society through unrivalled selfless service to humanity
