
Meet our 2022 NVCF Fellows
Every year, since 2019, Raising New Voices, in partnership with Friedrich Ebert-Stiftung, selected young, talented, and promising talents across Osun state and train them in the areas of good governance, leadership, advocacy, and activism, and civic engagement for one year period. During this time, they are exposed to the various concepts of good governance, leadership, and advocacy by seasoned and expert facilitators.
This year, 10 fellows were selected from 10 local governments in Osun state. We are excited and eager to welcome these 10 outstanding young leaders to the fellowship on April 2, at Atlantis Grand suites, Osogbo. Already, 30 young leaders have passed through the NVCF programme and some have gone on to become changemakers in their communities.
Please, meet our 2022 NVCF Fellows below.
ABE OLUWASOGO STEPHEN

Abe Stephen, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Stephen Oluwasogo Abe, is from Ilesha West Local Government Area in Osun State. He is a graduate of Chemistry from the National Open University.
Because of his passion for a new Nigeria where things would work for everyone, he served as a micro group leader for his local government and also as the state financial secretary for Kowa Party in Osun state. A micro group is a group under Kowa party national youth cause where they engaged young and passionate youths on what should be done to achieve a better Nigeria.
In his words, “I am glad to be among the selected for the fellowship and I hope for the best as we journey together.”
RIDHWAN OPEYEMI

Ridwan Opeyemi, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Ridhwan Opeyemi, ABDULGHANIY from Bode-Osi of Ola-Oluwa local government is a final year student of Medical Laboratory Science at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso where’s he is also the President of JCI (Junior Chamber International), a global network of young enterprising leaders and the second in command of the Democratic Socialist Movement. He’s a content creator with proficiencies in writing and social media management, this he does on a remote freelancing and volunteering pace.
He’s committed to personal growth, politics, and humanitarian/community development which he has displayed in various spheres. He is a National Certified Trainer and Andragogy Therapist, a graduate of many Leadership and Entrepreneurship academy, and has added several awards and qualifications to his vitae. He was a former president of Iwoland Indigenous Students in Lautech, Speaker of the National Association of Osun State Students, held many portfolios, and has led various projects and programs that have individual development and community impact. He has mentees and followers who are under his tutelage for learning and tutoring in different aspects.
Ridhwan speaks Yoruba, English, and Arabic languages at Native, Fluent, and Conversational levels of proficiency respectively.
OLAYEMI OLARIGBE
Olayemi Olaribigbe is an experienced software and business developer with vast knowledge in Information and Communication Technology, Software development, and Digital marketing whose goal is to automate business goals and needs using technology to drive productivity, He is a graduate of Computer Science and Economics at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. Currently serving as Nigerian Youth Congress(NYC) Gen. Secretary, Osun state chapter. He also ran INN HUB Digital Technology, an IT firm that offers software development and website development, Business Branding, and Digital marketing services, finally as part of our effort to liberate and sensitize young minds, while creating employment opportunities. He and his colleagues recently launched an initiative called ICT4charity for young students and vulnerable adults to get introduced to the opportunities available in the IT world and start earning a living with them.
ABEEB MUYIWA

Muyiwa Abeeb, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Abeeb Muyiwa Abdulamid (BALOGUN JORJOR)hails from Fojugbagi’s Compound Iwo Osun was born on April 18, 1994. Chief whip of the Southern Youth Parliament, a farmer and politician, he had his primary and secondary education in Iwo, Osun state, and later attended Federal Poly Offa where he studied Science Laboratory Technology in 2014. He was the Sports Director of the SLT department, and also the pioneer honorable to represent both Slt nd1 and nd2 at the Student legislative council, he also serve as the general secretary of the Entire Iwoland student Union, in which the impact is still intact.
Because of the pursuit of a better career, he furthered his academics at the Federal University of Technology Minna, Where he studied Agric Economics and Extension. He was also an active member of FUTMX SUG also the President of Iwoland student Union 2018. He represented Iwoland students at the National Association of Osun State Students too, he is also a politician of high reputation, he contested for Isale Oba ward 3 councilorship, he has worked with various politicians in Iwoland and Osun state, He is a core APC Member.
He is the CEO Of Abeeb’s farms where he deals with various agricultural products like poultry, rabbitry e.t.c, and also the founder of BALOGUN Jorjor initiative which has promoted a lot of Academics programs, sports programs, etc.
He is a Muslim, who is happily married with glorious children.
EMMANUEL GBADURA

Emmanuel Gbadura, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Gbadura Emmanuel is a medical student (physiotherapy) at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and he is also into learning programming. This is basically his first organization to join. He currently lives in Ondo state and he enjoys viewing all the bright places.
HALIMAT BISOLA OYEYEMI

Halimat Oyeyemi, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Halimat Bisola Oyeyemi is an Accountant, Business Development Expert, and Politician.
Halimat was elected a Parliamentarian to represent Ward 7 in Olorunda Local Government in 2018, an administration that recorded successive laudable achievements. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Osun State University, and currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Finance at the University of Ibadan. She is currently the Vice-president of the Osun State University Alumni Association.
Halimat is enthusiastic about education and women’s development, and currently leads an NGO- Limah Care Foundation, where she works to provide basic education and humanitarian support for women and girls.
She possesses a strong passion for policy formulation in the areas of women empowerment, hence her interest in political leadership. She enjoys reading, research, and traveling.
RIDWAN ALABI

Ridwan Alabi, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Ridwan is the CEO of Tower Drill Services, a hydrogeological firm specialized in groundwater exploration (borehole drilling) and water management.
He has relevant background and hands-on experience in various geological specializations including hydrogeology, solid minerals exploration, and environmental management. He’s a native of Ejigbo in Osun State, Nigeria. He earned a BSc. Degree in Geology and Mineral Science from the University of Ilorin, where he was the President of Geoscience Students’ Association (NAPE/NMGS/AAPG).
He’s also an environmentalist, an advocate of a sustainable environment for a pollution-free ecosystem. He’s passionate about personal, career, and community development.
EZEKIEL OLAWALE

Ezekiel Olawale, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Ezekiel Sesan Olawale is a Public Health educator who is passionate about community development. He is a grass-root developer committed to health and education development. The passion led him to convene Onward Health Initiative (a health-based institution offering health and health-related services)He bagged a B.sc in Health Education at the University of Ilorin, with several professional certifications in Health Safety and Environment, Leadership and Management in Global Health, Program/Project Management, entrepreneurship among others both at the national and international level. He is currently working at Opolo Global Innovation Ltd, an innovation enabler company and he is a data science enthusiast. Hobbies include football and writing.
ZAINAB AGBOLADE

Zainab Agbolade, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Agbolade Zainab Olamide works as an M & E officer at Value Female Network in Osun State. She is committed to the three “P’s”, which are to preserve, protect, and promote the rights of the girl child. She is on a mission to create a world that is free from gender discrimination and to make sure every young person’s potential is fulfilled. She is also particular about gender and reproductive health issues facing young girls and women. Zainab has impacted thousands of girls and women and has been to over 40 communities to discuss health-related issues. Agbolade Zainab Olamide hailed from Ila Orangun, Osun State, from a family of 15. She bagged a B.Sc in biochemistry at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state
MOJEED OLATUNJI YUSUFF

Mojeed Yusuff, 2022 NVCF Fellow
Mojeed Olatunji Yusuff is the Director at Exoteric Innovations.
He is striving to be a more useful citizen to the society in Nigeria and at large.
