Lead Change With Me by Jude ‘Feranmi
8 YEARS have now passed since I started organising to bring change to my country.
I remember vividly in 2012 when I and my childhood friend Tolu Taiwo brought young people together to discuss the issue of post-secondary school education and how young girls were getting pregnant and young boys were becoming fathers in Ilesha. We started organising to change that.
Since then, I have worked with more young people than I can count on different issues to say, “This Has To Change” – From post-secondary school education to organising the first and only #BringBackOurGirls March in OAU with another friend of mine – Abiodun Omonijo, From Advocating for Peace to Niger Delta Youths in Bayelsa to inciting students from more than 15 countries to march for Climate Change in Maastricht, Netherlands – the city where the European Union Treaty was signed, From leading one of the most popular youth caucus of any political party in Nigeria to leading the movement to get 100,000 Nigerians to write letters to National Assembly for electoral reforms.
I have spent my 20s on the love of country and the need to see progress in the lives of my fellow citizens. If I have learnt anything, it is that more young people are willing to follow this path as well and that we need even more young people to do so. That is how change will come to our country or our community – when we have civic conscious, socially responsible and politically aware leaders calling for change from every direction.

This is why I am announcing the publication of my second book – Lead The People. There are many things I can say about the book and how it inspires and provides clear cut direction for any young leader who wants to see change happen in any community and in any country in the world. I will, however, let you read from some of the young leaders that you already know.
Through these links, you can either READ REVIEWS of the book, PRE-ORDER the book or DOWNLOAD a FREE Chapter
The book will be released on the 4th of July, 2020. I look forward to the reading of as many young leaders across the globe who I have met in my journey and asked me ‘what can I do to be like you’.
Our world needs the ideas and the creativity that young people can bring to make a positive impact. But only the young leaders who are able to influence and organize the people towards their ideas will be able to make this impact. I hope this book helps you to become the socially relevant, impact making and politically conscious leader that you wish you are.
For country, always.
